Introduction to the Unit Commitment Problem
We will be looking into a unit commitment optimization problem in the utility sector.
The aim is supply reliability towards the demand for heating while keeping production costs at a minimum. Furthermore, we will discuss challenges during implementation and the open-source optimization modelling language Pyomo based on Python.
The speakers are Rico & Philipp from Leipziger Stadtwerke.
