Turnaround: InVision Software AG achieves positive EBIT in Q2 2010

According to preliminary figures, InVision Software AG (ISIN: DE0005859698), a leading international provider of enterprise-wide workforce management solutions, has increased revenues by app. 5% to app. EUR 6.7 million in the first half-year 2010 (H1 2009: EUR 6.4 million). Q2 revenues are expected to rise up by app. 12% to app. EUR 3.8 million (Q2 2009: EUR 3.4 million). Based on its preliminary figures for the first half-year 2010, the EBIT is projected to be improved by app. EUR 2.1 million to app. EUR -0.8 million (H1 2009: EUR -2.9 million). During the second quarter 2010, the EBIT will be at app. EUR 0.5 million (H1 2009: -1.2 million). After nine subsequent quarterly losses the Company returns to profitability on a quarterly basis.

According to the preliminary numbers, licence revenues totalled app. EUR 2.3 million in the first half-year 2010. This represents app. 13 percent decline compared to the first half-year 2009 (H1 2009: EUR 2.7 million). The decline is attributed to a more conservative licence revenue recognition in favour of larger order backlog compared to the previous year. In the first half-year 2010, maintenance revenues raised up by 22 percent to app. EUR 2.5 million (H1 2009: EUR 2.0 million). Services revenues are estimated to rise up 14 percent to EUR 1.9 million (H1 2009: EUR 1.6 million).

InVision Software AG will substantiate its guidance for the fiscal year 2010 in the financial report for H1 2010.
