Swiss Contact Day 2009: InVision Presents WFM Solution with Integrated Time Management
InVision Software, a leading international provider of enterprise-wide workforce management (WFM) solutions, presents the latest version, release 4.7, of its software solution InVision Enterprise WFM at the Swiss Contact Day 2009. The event takes place on September 3rd, 2009, at the Allegro Grand Casino Kursaal, Bern, Switzerland. At the InVision stand, visitors can experience how more than 100 new functions of the software make optimised staff planning in call centres even more efficient and user-friendly.
The Swiss Contact Day expects about 300 visitors this year and is organised by the Swiss trade association Callnet.ch to enable the exchange of experiences between providers, consultants and users as well as to support an active transfer of knowledge, and thus, to strengthen the Swiss contact centre sector. This year’s motto of the renowned event which is taking place for the fourth time already is “Value Proposition Contact Centre: Trustworthy – Customer-focused – Profitable”.
“Against the background of the increasing cost pressure and increasing service requirements at the same time, demand-oriented agent scheduling plays an even more important role in call centre management,” says Peter Bollenbeck, CEO of InVision Software. “With our know-how in the workforce management sector, we can support planners and the management to save both time and costs while increasing staff motivation, service level and thus customer satisfaction at the same time.”
As employees and time are the most valuable resources of a contact centre, the introduction of flexible working times helps to increase productivity and to reduce costs. Accordantly, this has an impact on staff scheduling and working time management: The more flexible the working time, the more complex the requirements for time management will become. Therefore, an integrated time management which is just as flexible as the agents´ working time is an important requirement for efficient workforce management.
In total, 40 of the new functions of InVision Enterprise WFM 4.7 support integrated time management that helps users to save time and to calculate working times correctly. From the transfer, distribution, allocation, monitoring and approval of working times using time accounts to the preparation of this information for wages and salary accounting systems, the entire process can largely be carried out automatically and smoothly using InVision’s software solution. With the so called “Rules Engine” for time management, which is based on RDL (Rule Definition Language), a programming language developed by InVision, users can create and manage complex rule structures fine-tailored to a country, sector and individual company.
