InVision Software Nominated for Retail Award TOP PRODUKT HANDEL 2009
InVision Software, a leading international provider of enterprise-wide workforce management solutions, has been nominated as finalist at the first TOP PRODUKT HANDEL 2009, a competition honouring the best products in retail, presented by the German business magazine “handelsjournal”. Starting today, readers can vote until 16 th January 2009 on www.einzelhandel.de to determine InVision’s final position in the category ”process optimisation”: bronze, silver or gold.
The jury has screened numerous innovative applications and selected the software solution InVision Enterprise WFM as one of the nominees in the category “process optimisation”. Besides this category, other products will be awarded with regard to environment-friendliness, economic efficiency, sales promotion and customer satisfaction. Within this first evaluation round, the editorial office of “handelsjournal” named three applicants for each category. “We are pleased to be nominated with InVision Enterprise WFM in the first edition of this competition“, says Peter Bollenbeck, CEO of InVision Software. “Our web-based solution can help retailers of all formats and sizes to optimise the processes of managing their workforce. Thanks to its open interfaces, the scheduling software of InVision can be integrated smoothly into existing IT environments and connected to numerous external systems. It allows store managers and planners to optimise staffing of their sales floors, warehouses, as well as call centres and the back office by creating schedules that optimally match the actual business requirement. At the same time, it helps users to comply with all relevant legislation, local agreements, and the contracts of individual employees. In addition, InVision’s employee web portal “Infothek Interactive Schedule” allows a fair and transparent employee self-service process – employees have web access to their rosters and can even enter requests for preferred work times.
