InVision Software Nominated for 2011 European Business Awards

InVision Software, one of the leading international providers of cloud-based workforce management, today announced to be nominated for this year’s European Business Awards. InVision Software convinced the international, top-class expert jury and will now compete for a coveted „Ruban d’Honneur“, as one of Europe’s brightest business. This year, more than 15,000 companies from 30 countries submitted their application and as one of 25 organisations, InVision Software was selected to represent Germany. For the fifth year in a row, the European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC honours the top businesses for innovation, business excellence and sustainability.

“We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for these prestigious European Business Awards”, says Peter Bollenbeck, CEO of InVision Software. “The global financial crisis is done and dusted. After having achieved the turnaround, our revenues increased by more than 30 per cent again in 2010. Now, we are highly motivated to realise new and innovative projects. It is from this position of strength that we are currently transitioning our core business model to cloud computing. This opens up opportunities for further market penetration and exploitation of higher earnings potential“, Bollenbeck explains.

The software solutions of InVision enable companies to optimise their staff planning and scheduling processes in order to reduce personnel costs, increase productivity and improve employee satisfaction. By now, customers are able to use InVision’s products as Software as a Service (SaaS), without initial investment in expensive hardware or software. After having grown faster than the market in 2010, cloud computing now opens up additional customer potential especially in the segment of small and medium-sized businesses.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards comments, “Over the past five years we’ve received an incredibly high standard of entries from organisations that are passionate about their business. However, very few get the chance to fly the flag for their country and compete across Europe to be recognised as one of the EU’s leading companies. It really is an exceptional accolade to be picked as a Country Representative, and together with HSBC we’re looking forward to seeing InVision Software in the next round.”
