InVision at European Discounter Congress 2009: Increased Productivity and Better Customer Service

InVision Software, a world-leading supplier of solutions for enterprise-wide workforce management (WFM), will be one of the exhibiting companies at the first European Discounter Congress. The event is hosted by “Lebensmittel Zeitung”, the leading publication for the retail industry in German-speaking Europe, and takes place at the Hotel InterContinental in Berlin, Germany, on May 5th and 6th, 2009. At InVision’s booth, visitors of the congress can experience how the solution InVision Enterprise WFM makes optimised staff scheduling in retail even more efficient and user-friendly.

Besides numerous best-practice presentations held by industry experts, the congress also features a collateral exhibition where InVision Software will showcase its solution for demand-oriented workforce management (WFM), InVision Enterprise WFM. Deploying the system, nationally and internationally operating discounters can benefit from an automated staff scheduling while optimising the working times at the same time. InVision will demonstrate by the concrete example of an international retail company how the modular software enables automated scheduling on basis of an individual calculation of the staff actually required – also across multiple sites. The predominant objectives of this sample project included the reduction of the great effort for manual data entry, the creation of more transparency by real-time data, the standardisation of company-internal processes on a pan-European level as well as the acceleration of accounting processes.
