InVision Increased Revenues by 26 Percent up to Euro 6.39 Million – Preliminary Half-Year Results

AD-HOC NOTICE ACCORDING TO §15 WpHG

  • Licence Revenues Increased by 184 Percent
  • Guidance for Fiscal Year 2009 Remains Unchanged

According to preliminary figures, InVision Software AG (ISIN: DE0005859698), a leading international provider of enterprise-wide workforce management solutions, has increased revenues by 25 percent in the second quarter of 2009. Revenues raised up to app. EUR 3.45 million compared to EUR 2.75 million reported in the same quarter in the previous year. Thus, in the first half year 2009, revenues totalled app. EUR 6.39 million, which represents a 26 percent increase over the same period in 2008. Based on its preliminary figures for the first half-year 2009, the EBIT is projected to be EUR -2.87 million which is in line with the Company’s expectations. During the same period of the previous year, the EBIT was EUR -3.41 million.

Similar to the first three months of this year, revenues again increased especially by selling software licences in the second quarter of 2009. According to the preliminary numbers, licence revenues totalled app. EUR 2.69 million in the first half-year 2009. This represents a 184 percent increase compared to the first half-year 2008 (first half-year 2008: EUR 0.95 million). This reflects the positive effects of the intensification of sales efforts during the previous year. In addition, several contracts that were postponed at the end of 2008 could be closed now. In the first half-year 2009, maintenance revenues raised up by 22 percent to app. EUR 2.05 million, from EUR 1.67 million earned during the same period of the previous year. In contrast, service revenues are still suffering from the consequences of low licence revenues during the fourth quarter 2008: Services revenues are estimated to decline by 33 percent down to EUR 1.65 million (first half-year 2008: EUR 2.45 million). The continuous clear growth of licence revenues since beginning of 2009 is expected to increase services licences in the medium-term as well.

InVision Software AG reconfirms its guidance for the fiscal year 2009, ending December 31st. Even though the overall economic development is still very difficult to predict, InVision’s plans for 2009 remain unchanged and the Company expects a significant increase in revenues as well as an EBIT of app. EUR -2.2 million for the fiscal year 2009.
